KNEB ATTAINED THE LATEST ISO QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 9001:2015)
ISO 9001:2015 recognizes organisations that can link business objectives with operating effectiveness. It is the world’s most popular management system standard used by over one million organisations around the world, helping them to run more efficiently and systematically.
Furthermore, it provides a framework for consistent performance, reliable service and long-term continuous improvement. Updated in 2015 to remain relevant and reflect the needs of modern day businesses, the standard is a powerful tool in ensuring that KNEB continues to better its services, products and operations to meet customer needs. In attaining the ISO 9001:2015, KNEB is one of 274 institutions that have been certified on the ISO 9001:2015 in Kenya so far, ahead of the transition deadline of September 15, 2018.
It will ensure that KNEB’s Quality Management System is completely integrated and aligned with business operations using a risk-based process mapping, and promote a proactive approach to identifying risks and making systematic continual improvement to mitigate them.
We are delighted to achieve this important milestone in KNEB’s corporate history as we fast track the introduction of nuclear electricity generation in Kenya, forging ahead towards commissioning the first 1000MW nuclear power plant in line with vision 2030.
